Enough is enough

Sometimes it seems we are touched. Sometimes this is a good thing. Others, it just sucks.

It seems right now, where I work is touched with death. In two months, we have lost 3 people. One committed suicide just 2 days after Christmas. Another, was actually an ex-employee but was very well liked and kept in touch, committed suicide just days after the other. They were friends, and never told each other about their own pain.

I came to work today to find out that someone else had been killed in a car accident last night on her way home from work. It was shocking. She was just here yesterday, we all saw her, spoke to her, and never knew that was the last time. There are unsaid words from all of the staff here. But I want to say, she will be missed. She was an awesome person. Friendly, always took time to cheer someone up and made sure everyone else felt good when they were around her. In a mental health facility, that is not always easy. But she just radiated happiness.
